I just took my boards this morning, which shut off at 79 questions. What concerns me the most is that I only had 1 SATA. It seems over the past few months many have taken the NCLEX with a minimum of 10-25 SATA. Is this an indicator that I bombed epically?

Welcome
Moved to the NCLEX forum
SATA is just a type of question we have had a few post recently that they only got a few and passed.
Good luck
Anyone pass with very few calcs or SATA?

I had 2 drug calculations and 5 or 6 SATA on my test. I passed with 76 questions although I swear I missed the last question. So stop worrying, it ain't over till it's over.
Unfortunately, one of my last handful of questions dealt with the signs and symptoms of gout...this had to be one of the most basic questions one can receive and not too promising to be getting at the end.

SATA questions are only a format and you cannot determine level of question from that.
And there are still people that pass here that have not gotten any.
Best of luck to you, trying to second guess will not help you in any way, please just wait until you get your results.

i had 20 sata and passed with 75...
my sister took it and had only 4 sata and passed with 75....
it just depends on the questions you get....i just passed a week ago and i can tell you that you can not figure the nclex out...it is impossible. i thought for sure i failed because the questions were so hard and then around question 45 they seemed to be easier (or it was just because i was more certain of the answers). I even got a beta blker question toward the end and i thought to myself "OMG i am failing...no one graduates nsg school without knowing heart meds". Truly nclex is a test like no other. Be calm and i am sure you passed:)

Well you have definitely given me hope...I took the test today and my computer shut off @ 76 questions. I had maybe 3 or 4 med calcs, probably like 8-10 SATA and a ton of priority questions.
The 76 questions is what's bothering me the most, but reading your post makes me feel somewhat better Thanks for sharing!!!!
Oh, and more importantly CONGRATULATIONS !!!!!!!!!
SATA is only a format style, nothing more than that and you cannot determine level of question from that.
Getting many priority questions is actually a good thing.
Not getting math questions is also a good thing.
Best of luck to you.

Keep the faith...I found out that I passed today, and I had 4 math calcuations and only 4 SATA out of 75 questions. I just knew I was going to fail bc of all of the math questions, but I passed!
Point of the story is...the number of SATA doesn't matter, and some math is okay (in my opinion, my math questions were very difficult)
