You can only teach to BSN level students with an MSN, but honestly most employers are looking for a terminal degree for online teaching positions. It's a very desired and thus competitive role. There is a website call Adjunct World that posts open positions, also HigherEd.com.

Contact Galen College of Nursing. With the current state of affairs, all classes are being taught on line. And of course Pixie is correct in stating that you will only be able to teach ADN's or LPN's. Good luck!
thank you !

If you are an online instructor do you need to be licensed in the state where the school is located?

Yes, I had to obtain and must maintain an RN license in the school's state.

Some states require you to be licensed if you have online students in that state. For example, I work for a large online university and when I was in my faculty role I had to have licenses in TN, WA in addition to my home state. It seriously sucks the life out of you complying with all the requirements. My home state just joined the compact- so that helps a lot.
