I'm pretty sure my kids think I've gone crazy. I know MrMonkey does.

I am right there with you!! :p I just got home from getting all of my books for this semester which is making it all more real, and it will be even more so when I go to orientation on Thursday!! Of course right now I am complete sticker shock from paying for those books...over $1000!! :uhoh3:

I can totally relate! I start on the 23rd and Im soo excited and scared all at the same time. And don't even get me started on books! mine were $1250! OUCH!! But we are finally here- a place that a year ago I could only dream about !

I'm right there behind you...2 weeks for me! OK so 2 weeks and 3 days...well technically I have 4 classroom days, 4 clinical days, and my last 3 days are reviewing for and taking my exit exam... gahhh!

And I alternate between the same feelings too...

Are you applying for jobs yet?

ETA-oh wait, do you mean one week before you START or FINISH? Should have clarified that before I responded I guess...lol

I start classes tomorrow. I'm so excited. I probably will not get any sleep tonight. lol

I'm right there with you! Our orientation is this Thursday and we start school on Monday I believe. I'm absolutely SO NERVOUS - and a little excited lol.

I am also starting my junior year on the 23rd and am ready to have a nursing class involving more pathophysiology instead of all therapeutic communication and the like. :clown:

I had orientation the 11th and got my last book yesterday and now just waiting on my scrubs!! I am scared out of my mind to start on the 23!!! I can't believe it's here allready! Holy Smokes!! I've been looking through my books to get familiar with the material, but I'm giving my brain 6 more days of freedom. Lol.

I start my first day of NS next Thursday. I have been too excited the past few nights to get much sleep and spend most of my time perusing this web site...and looking online for nursing shoes and watches! I am also in total "nesting" mode. I've stocked up on peanut butter and jelly and toilet paper--for some reason, I just feel better knowing that in case I come home completely wiped out one day, at least we can have PBJ sandwiches for dinner--and we have toilet paper! I've sat at Barnes and Noble for hours reading the books about How To Survive Clinicals, etc. I don't know if I feel more empowered, or more nervous, ha ha!
