Oncology question

I've been working on my chemo certification and was wondering if anyone knew the answer to this question...

Which person is at the greatest risk for developing febrile neutropenia?

I think I've narrowed it down to either a 70yr female with non-Hodgkin lymphoma or a 45yr female with metastatic breast cancer.

I'm leaning in a certain direction, but am curious to hear any thoughts.

Thank you

That's the answer i world go for as well with the Minsk amount of information but Mets is so broad what other organs are affected may our may not alter my choice.all in all definitely the 70 year old patient due to the patho involved with a dx of nhl

My choice would be the 70y old as well, for the same reasons.

definitely the NHL patient. NHL is treated with chemo often like leukemias so that would make the patient more vulnerable.

breast cancer patients with mets often still have ok immune function
