OMG! I CANNOT believe it!

Published

Holy cow! I am in disbelief...I had filled out my re-take application and emailed my instructors that I was sure I failed it! I still cannot believe that in 75 questions (when only 60 count) that they can assess my knowledge base. When I took the LPN test back in the stone-age we tested for an entire day over every area of nursing. I felt like it really assessed my strength/weak areas. This just...I dunno. Totally had me freaking out. I spent entirely too much time and energy trying to assess the test while I was taking it. Was it giving me an easy question because I just got the last one wrong? Were these passing level questions?? I thought for sure most of my test was below passing level...it seemed like fundamental stuff. It made me panic and start to second guess every answer and I started changing answers. Ugh...was one of the most unpleasant experiences of my life! I have been in hell since I took it on Tuesday. I am so glad this nightmare is behind me.

Congrats to all those who have taken the NCLEX and passed. And good luck to all those waiting to test. Just relax and breathe and do NOT try to figure out the questions once you leave there...you'll make yourself insane! Get Kaplan strategy book if you haven't yet...it's worth the $$!!
