Do not dwell on it!! A "C" is passing!! But don't let the fact that you got a C bring you down!!! Is this a class that counts toward you GPA? I know our basic math class didn't count toward our GPA.
By the way, I have gotten a C or 2 in my classes!!! It's not an A, but it is passing and that is what I told myself!!! Hang in there!
yes this did count, the basic math class was a pre-req for the nursing program....very important..I feel so disappointed in myself...

Unless the grade is vitally important to your GPA and admittance, I would be more concerned that you understand the concepts in this class....if it's anything like the math program at my CC, that class is a building block upon which you will move on to the higher level pre-algebra courses that will be used in chemistry and for nursing dosage, to say the least.
If you don't feel confident that you have a firm foundation in some of these concepts, I would take time to find a tutor or re-take the class before moving on. Your basic adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing and fractions and decimals will be used constantly during nursing school and as an RN.

I agree completely...if you are not grasping the concepts of the math class, I would suggest maybe taking it again for two reasons. A: To bring your GPA up, and B: To make sure you understand how to solve the problems because it will be a huge part of what you do!
