Off and Running!!!

Today was my first day in an actual room(circulating). Two total joints and an emergency belly case. Tired, so very tired and my feet hurt-I love it though! Looks like they are keeping me with pretty much the same preceptor but the specialties will change each day...Feels weird to be circulating these cases and not scrubbing them!:lol2:

Good luck to you. I hope you continue to enjoy it!

that is great that you go started on the circulating..It very different than scrubbing isnt it??I definately respect my circulator more when I am scrubbing..I have critical care orientation one more day then I am set free yet again..I cant wait to get back into the swing of things..I am glad you enjoyed it..Its great exercise

Thanks for the update! Sorry to hear about your sore feet! Are you working in a major metropolitan area? How many ORs do you have and will you circulate for all specialties eventually?
