Off handed remark

just had one of my teachers come to me and said " have any students barfed in your honor today"? this was said to me because of school nurse's day. i just don't know how to take that. :bugeyes:

Crazy teachers ! Well atleast your staff recognizes school nurse's day. We have health services day today for school nurses and health aides ( as myself), and so far We've gotten nothing, nada from staff... Maybe because the teachers are so busy enjoying all of their goodies from " Teacher's Week"

Well, it could have been a play at humor. Or it could have been a poorly veiled insult. Depends on the body language and tone of the person making the remark and their usual demeanor when dealing with you. Maybe you could come back with a comparable retort on Teachers Day.
