OB nurses in Phoenix

Published

I am planning to move to the Phoenix area later this year. Am looking to apply in Labor/Delivery but I need information on the hospitals in the Phoenix area. Could you share some information on the level of your unit (I, II, or III), and why you like working there? Also, are there openings on your unit? I have over 25 years experience in OB and can't wait to join the rest of my family in the warm weather! Any advise would be so helpful!!

Almost every single hospital in Phoenix has Labor/Delivery-----about the only one that doesn't is Boswell in Sun City.

Phoenix is now the 5th largest city in the country.............You first need to decide on which area of town that you want to work in, do you want a private hospital or a teaching facility? Do you wish to work with nurse midwives or not? Each has their own personal preferences............

You need to narrow down some things before anyone can really give you an idea or make and suggestions to you..................

i had my son at scottsdale health center, the nurses there is what motivated me to go back to school and earn my R.N. i had him by c-section, and the floor i was on was c-section only. i wasn't paired up with a natural birth mom getting dis-charged after 24 hours. every mom has a private room. i loved it there!!!:w00t:
