  1. I am planning to move to the Phoenix area later this year. Am looking to apply in Labor/Delivery but I need information on the hospitals in the Phoenix area. Could you share some information on the level of your unit (I, II, or III), and why you like working there? Also, are there openings on your unit? I have over 25 years experience in OB and can't wait to join the rest of my family in the warm weather! Any advise would be so helpful!!
  2. My DH and I are planning on moving to AZ in the next 6 months to 1 year. We will probably live in the Phoenix or Mesa area( our son lives in Mesa). I am an experienced L&D RN and would appreciate info from RNs in this area about their hospitals, size of the unit, Level II or III, and why they like working there. I have heard good things about Banner Health, also. Any info would be greatly appreciated! Also, I am considering working with a nursing agency out of the Phoenix area to get some exposure to the different OB units. Any suggestions or advise on this?
  3. At our hospital most moms have epidurals (about 90%). If no epidural our drug of choice is Dilaudid. We give 1 mg IV and 2 mg IM. We don't use Demoral or Stadol at all in labor. Occaisonally Nubain. It is interesting to see whay everyone else is using!
