OB NP

Hi All,

I just finished my OB clinicals :yeah: but I had a question. I loved OB and could see myself doing that but I have always wanted to further my education so if I chose to become an NP what options are there to work in a hospital on the L&D unit? Is that an option? Thanks for your help.

Woman's Health Nurse Practitioner or a Certified Nurse Midwife.

what about an FNP? Can you do more elective clinicals to get more training in OB and GYN? Or is it better to go through a whnp program?

You can do women's health as a FNP. If you want to do OB, your only option is a CNM.
