Nvcc fall 2016

Hi,

I just need some insight from all of you...I am planning to apply for nursing at NVCC for fall 2016. I have finished all my prerequisites and general requirement with the gpa of 3.7 but my teas score is on the lower side. I still have two chances to take it again but the student services have told me that since I passed I can't take it again. Is it true? If I were to take it again, will the nursing team take my highest score for consideration? Any help will be appreciated! 😊

    I have not received anything either! and its 5:50 pm. I'm freaking out that they didn't get it somehow even though it said delivered. I wonder if they are still sending out emails right now? whyyyyy

    On facebook they said they're only halfway through the applications and that everyone should receive one by the end of next week. I'm hopeful that we'll get an email next week.

    I'm in the same boat - I'm panicking even though I have a return receipt saying it was delivered. But I'm trying to remember that they still have a lot of applications to process. :)

    I still did not get anything. I did however apply last minute so I am hoping that is why I haven't been notified.

    I did send my application out in the last few days of the application period..not sure if that makes a difference?

    I do not think that when you sent in your application is directly correlated with when you will receive an email regarding your application status, because I sent my application in 4 days before the application period ended, as I was waiting for my final grades to be posted. I think they must just be doing it at random. Although I also thought that I would not receive an email until next week, luckily I got mine today. Do not lose hope or panic though! I'm hoping you will all receive an email on Monday!

    Anyone see the latest update on the MEC Facebook page? They had nearly 400 applicants for both the Traditional and LPN-RN tracks combined. So crazy...

    They said they still haven't decided how many applicants will be accepted as of yet, but still hoping all of us here get in!
