Welcome
It may be Why do you want to be a nurse? What do you understand about nursing?

I would phone them up and ask - always prepare yourself. They may assume that everyone knows what a written task is, but obviously that is not the case!

Each University can set any entrance testing it wants - so the questions will be what that academic establishment has decided to set. They are using it to find out about you, why you want to do the course and what sort of a person you are. My advice is be yourself, be honest and think about why you are applying and any relevant experience you may have that has reinforced why you want to do this before you go.
Good luck!

Hi,
in my written piece at my interview (which I had in March '08 ) they asked what is the role of a nurse in a hospital.
It is just to check you writing skills, grammar and so on.
Good luck.
