Nursing and height

I'm thinking about going into nursing but I'm only 4'11". Could I still be a good nurse even though it would be too difficult for me to move larger patients (i.e. anyone over 5'5" - LOL)?

i worked w/a cna who was around 4'8 but was as strong as an ox and would help me boost the heaviest of pts.

then i've worked with both nurses and cna's that their lack of strength was so scary that a few different times, a patient almost fell transferring from wc to bed.

so i got to know who were the strong ones and the not so strong ones.

you really can't take it for granted that all are equally strong.

What was the technique? 4_6_2v.gif I would love to know, so I can use it...

I have no idea, I was not into nursing then. All I remembered was watching her in awe.
