Company is owned my AMN Services, the company which owns American Mobile. My first travel assignment was with American Mobile, then my recruiter moved to Preferred, another sister company of AMN, and I haven't had any troubles and I moved with her. The housing is good, no real problems there. Haven't really had any trouble as far as getting pet deposits back or my paycheck. I had a couple of problems with the payroll department saying they didn't get my timecard on time twice in a row. However, I saved my timecard and the confirmation of when I sent it. The second time it happened, I called my recruiter, who connected me to the manager, and it stopped. One of my friends is with Nurses Rx on assignment in San Diego. She likes them as well. So, it is a good company, and don't have anything bad to say about AMN services. Good luck!

I talked to them for awhile and was about to take an assignment...it was significantly less than I'd made with my previous agency, but the unit was one that was right up my alley. I was already to sign when I found out I'd have to, in addition to dragging all my personal stuff along, supply my own dishes, pots and pans, linens, etc.

I'm going to truck all that stuff across the country? I don't think so!! I signed with another agency which supplies everything right down to the forks and bedsheets AND pays more. Not a bit sorry I did!

cvryder,

which company did you end up signing with? Has anyone heard good things about RN Network?

I went with On Assignment and I've had really good experience with them. Contact me privately if you want details or recruiter's name.

I am with American Mobile and like my recruiter and have had a couple of issues that the staff helped me with quickly!!

I went with RN Network... will never go with them again. They lied several times. Once is enough for me with that company... don't trust them and if you go with them... get EVERYTHING in writing. They tend to have a poor memory about what they promise when it comes time to pay off on their promises!

Just in talking to recruiters from Nurses RX and RN Network they didn't really sell themselves that well.... it was a one sided conversation and they didn't boast their company like they should have...

I'm between about 4 companies right now and I am just having a hard time narrowing it down... all of your comments are very helpful!

If Nurses in Partnership is one of the four you are talking to I would go with them... fantastic!!!
