wow! I submitted my application for winter 2011 yesterday and I am so anxious! I can only imagine how everyone else feels for Fall admissions. I figure the earlier I apply the better my chances are because I have a 3.3 GPA overall and in my sciences as well = /. has anyone else here applied for the winter term? for what I see they review files as they come in... ? OMG how nerve wrecking!!!! GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE!! my waiting game begins!!

Hi everyone!!

I called today and got some info. First, ****** is no longer the contact person for entry level nursing. The person is now ******. I actually left her a voicemail and she called me right back!. She told me that they received a lot of applications over 1,000 and that they have processed many and accepted many already, but that there still spots available and that everyone should know by the end of June. So we should all know within the coming weeks :)

I had called too on Monday June 7 to get an update and found out that ****** is the new adviser for nursing. I didn't get to speak her because she

Was at a meeting. I was told by someone else that they had lots of applicants and they were still reviewing. They stated it could take up till the third week of July! Hopefully your information is more accurate since you spoke to her. Thanks for the info! If I hear anything else i will keep you all posted.

friendly terms of service reminder

a few posts have been edited to comply with the terms of service. per the terms of service of this site, please do not post names, initials, or contact information of professors or other school officials on the public board. it is better to communicate this type of information via the private message system.

as stated in the terms of service:

while it is important to be able to network, everyone should be mindful of the following:

  1. it is a small world - when we narrow it down to a state and throw in some personal info, there is actually a pretty good chance someone may recognize you if you are not careful. your privacy is paramount to us.
  2. while allnurses.com is a wonderful place to vent (without excess personally identifiable details) it is not the place to express why ("x" specific person, place or program) is terrible. gripe away, but since we cannot permit allegations to be made about named entities, your care in not naming them is very much appreciated.
  3. please do not give out personal information about others. do not name names where anyone could identify the person in any facility including your nursing programs.

the best to all of you! thank you for your cooperation.

I can't believe ********* is not in charge anymore.. Hopefully they hurry up and accept us already. (thinking positive)

Hi everyone!

Im really nervous too. i applied the first week of april and still havent heard anything. I have a 3.55 GPA but im taking a sociology class this summer. Ill be done by next week. Hopefully that doesnt hold me back.

I spoke to the new nursing advisor and she told me the same thing. I cant believe they've had 1,000 applicants! Thats crazy! Nova is accepting 100 right??

Good luck you guys! I hope we all get in! :)

Hello everyone!

After applying the first days in March 2010, I FINALLY received my Acceptance e-mail yesterday on June 9 for BSN Entry Level in Fall 2010. My friend whom sent her completed application in February (way before me) still has not heard anything yet though so I don't know what process they are taking in order to review these applications. It was a long awaited 3 months but it was totally worth it so I encourage you all to hang tight and stay confident, your acceptance e-mails should be coming shortly as well!

GOODLUCK TO ALL! Let me know if any of you have questions! :)

good luck to the rest of you, hope to see you all in the fall.

Congrats Pink!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOHOO!!!!

If you don't mind me asking what is your GPA? Were you taking any classes?

I am STILL waiting, hoping to hear something soon.

Congrat again, wish you the best!:yeah:

Congrats Pink. We are all proud of you.

for those of you who have been accepted. Do you have any updates on the Baptist Scholarship?

Thank you.

PINK CONGRATS!!! how exciting !

Thanks so much ZDream624 and Kristou!!

ZDream624,

My GPA is a 3.60 - I had classes in progress when I applied in March but I finished all of my prerequisites on May 1, 2010. Once I finished, I hand delivered my Official Transcripts to them the next week and from there on, just waited patiently. Don't worry, you will hear from them soon, just have faith and be confident!! :p

Kristou,

From what I have heard, interviews have already been scheduled to start next week. I am not sure when they will cease the interview process nor how many they are interviewing. What I suggest for you to do is, to have all of your paperwork ready for the Baptist Scholarship so that once you hear from Nova, you can send your application right away!!

THANK YOU SOOO MUCH KARINAT331!!!!!!!!! :yeah:
