Hi!
I am trying to choose between the new grad FNP residency at UC Davis and the residency with the community health center of New York city in Queens. I am wondering if anyone has experience with either program and is willing to share their experience!
Thank you!

I can't help you with your question... but do want to say congratulations on landing 2 prestigious offers. I have no doubt that whichever you chose will provide a wealth of information and set you for a long and successful career. Strong Work

I agree, congrats. I suspect the community health position may prepare you for managing underserved populations and learning to navigate services available. UC Davis is a lifestyle of CA, not to mention I would consider your CA licensing process. You might find yourself needing additional course work or the like, no matter the prestige of undergrad or grad school attended, as BON has very specific requirements. I happened to be fine with obtaining CA license, but it was a process. Personally, I enjoy the west coast and would choose UC in a second for this alone! All the best!
Thanks! Luckily I got my California licensure pretty quickly somehow!

Hi, which one did you end up choosing? I have an interview next week for FNP residency. How was the interview process?
