If one takes the NCLEX exam, and then pursues an NP program in Canada....does one take the same NP exam in Canada that one would take in the US? If not, what would one do to later on practice in the US?
Many thanks for all your suggestions!

The Canadian Neclex is different than the states. Last year, if you were an RN in Canada, you would have to write another Neclex to work in the US. I’m not sure if has changed in the last year
Is it called Neclex in Canada?, also can one then sit for the US NCLEX later on if the RN program was in Canada?

The NCLEX is the same for both countries and if sat in one you do not resit for another

That is incorrect.

Like I said, it was that way. I’m glad to hear it has changed. I knew a girl who wrote Canadian neclex then 6months later wrote another for the US.
What about the NP exam....when I googled it brought me to the link for the US board exam website. Can all who are knowledgeable about this comment on this please?
Many thanks.
