Not only are we a weird mob ... we're filthy too!

... with hot, soapy water and clean cloths, then wash the cloths. Although - a little dirt is good for the immune system.

Then again ... ya can always let the dog in and go for it! LOL

Nothing like a well licked floor! lol

What's wrong with letting the dog lick the plates????

and here I am more worried about having my shoes vomited on by a patient...

oh well!

An understandable concern, and certainly one I think we all share, but clearly your attention has been distracted from the more sinister threat posed by your kitchen taps. I suggest running from the house, preferably screaming in blood-curdling tones so to alert your equally ignorant neighbours to the menace that lurks :)

After the first couple of months the level of filth doesn't appreciably rise.

There's no point in cleaning your kitchen until summer .... and the ants.

Well my kitchen got a thorough going over a couple of weeks ago! :)

Nothing was left untouched .... even did the inside of all cupboards! :)

Had fun culling old unused unwanted items and anticipating the nice new modern ones which will replace them! lol

Are you deliberately trying to show us up???
