hi guys. sorry for this noob questions but im planning to apply for nclex.. can you please tell me:

1. where should i pay the necesary fees?

2. i filled up the form in their site to get my fingerprint card, but i haven't received it yet.. it's been two weeks. is it normal?

3. i want to work at cali,, which one do i need ielts or toefl?

4. i read this on their site:

"Request for Transcript form(s) completed and forwarded directly from the nursing school(s) with certified transcripts."

how to do this? where do i get a request form?

*as i believe the tor i currently hold isnt admissible as it says "forwarded directly" ive tried to ask the people at the registrar at my school but they all replied in an inaudible and incomprehensible language.

TIA. sorry for too many question, i tried to search my questions and these are the ones i cant still understand. im just really confused right now.

Moving to the International forum as talking about IELTS so obviously a foreign nurse.

You are not applying for NCLEX but licensure to be a RN in the USA. We do not recommend Ca for initial licensure. Please take time to read the forum and suggested reading is Primer to working in the USA, retrogression and California

1. where should i pay the necesary fees? thru bank draft drawn at any bank in us currency payable to board of registered nursing

2. i filled up the form in their site to get my fingerprint card, but i haven't received it yet.. it's been two weeks. is it normal? it may take time in getting your finger print card 4-6weeks

3. i want to work at cali,, which one do i need ielts or toefl? ielts

4.with regard to tor and rle breakdown they have the form on their site just a print it out and give it to your registrar to fill it out and send it directly to cali bon.

take note if your applying in cali they dnt give you a license if ever you pass the licensure exam since they will require you ssn and if with in 3 years that still you dnt have it they will distroy your files.

mush has been said about cali . just browse other thread to give you some detailed information regarding that matter.

alot of banks here in the philippines where you can drawn a bank draft in us currency. just have an inquiry with regards to how you can avail it.

goodluck on your petition.

CA actually does not have a language requirement, that is only needed if one is going to use the Interim Permit. But that requires that one also has passed the CGFNS exam and since there are no visas available now, there is no reason to even consider that.

That is the only time that the English exams are required for CA.

The US government has a requirement of either the IELTS or the iBT series from TOEFL to be used for immigration purposes and one of these series are needed to be able to get the Visa Screen Certificate.

What is a noob? Have never heard that expression before and not even sure if it is English.

You send a bank draft payable in US dollars, you do not need the number for the BRN account for that. It is just like getting a cashier's check or something similar. But again, you will not get a license issued without a SSN# and the passing letter expires in three years. You can read all about this on the threads specific to CA licensure which is not advised here for many reasons. Please just have a good read.

Have you actually taken and passed the NLE? CA will no longer grant permission to test without that being done and a license issued to you from the PRC.

You are looking at five years plus for a chance of a visa to work in the US, so quite easy to adapt to many areas.

hehe, i also dont know if its english but its a popular term here in my country. noob is a weak or newbie, or just someone who always lose.

How are you getting petitioned?

but i am now looking into the option of immigration through employement.. but still learning that one.

Didn't think grandparents could petition. Employment is probably your better option
