Soon i'd be taking the nmc exam as well.. so i badly need your help.. cheers!!!

So to all of you that have passed....have they not given you any info at all about the next steps now ? Like what dates are the osce and how much time you have to complete it, etc?? Any info appreciated! After almost 3 years trying to get my pin I've decided not to waste anymore time now considering they haven't even started doing osce's yet....so doing post graduate course. Maybe in another years time when I finish more study they will finally be sorted. So over it all!

Hi gen88,

After the passing the CBT, they let you pay the application fee (140) and then you get to start with the 'Full Application and Assessment Stage', where you fill it out with the necessary info regarding your personal details, nursing education, practice, work experience and good health. You also upload the certified copy of docs such as passport, birth cert., and etc. It is also here where you get to download the docs that you need to forward to respective people and offices for them to complete and send back to the NMC.

About the OSCE, I haven't received any info. about it yet. I think they will tell us once we are cleared of the 'Full Application and Assessment Stage'. Hope this helps. :)

Hi mam raissa. Can you help me with the exam. Im gonna take my exam this coming 12th of feb. Here's my email [email protected]. my fb arthur antonio. Thanks!

Hi raissa! I don't know how to send a message here. Were there any drug side effects Qs (pharma questions) or CTT/mech vent/other machinery that we need to brush up on for the medsurg Qs?

Hi! on my test there were no drug side effects or CTT/mech vent questions. study the blueprint most especially the code. There were also simple drug computations. goodluck on your exam!

Overall the exam was quite easy. There were scenarios which I'm sure you could answer especially if you work in a hospital and make sure you apply "the code" when answering every time. Study the blueprint and read all the publications posted at the NMC website. If you have more time practice answering NCLEX type questions and read the book Royal Marsden that they have posted at the thread at allnurses. Although there were a number of technical questions which can only be learned in UK. I hope this would help you guys! Good luck and Godbless!

Thank you so much! :)

Hi everyone, I retook the exam today and I PASSED! Like everyone has mentioned study the NMC guidelines and NICE guidelines. I think they've either removed or adjusted the critical questions because I don't think I would have passed with those still in the test!

Hi! I take the test tomorrow, any tips??!!!

I took my exam today and i passed!!! Study the code, simple drug computations, actually the tips from previous posts really helped a lot..goodluck to those who will take the exam..

Hi guys! What code did you study the old or the newly published? Thanks!

I passed today!! Such a relief!! I found doing NCLEX practice exams really helpful.

Congrats to all who are passing!!

Anxiously preparing for my second attempt...

Do any of you have advice on specific NICE guidelines to look over? There are so many on their website…i'm getting overwhelmed!

Also, do you feel like the new Code of nursing or the old one was used on the exam?

Any advice is much appreciated! :)
