I'm for BSUH too. Yeah, as far as I know only the 1st cohort (which I was supposed to be a part of) has been deployed. I really hope we're next.

I understand that the prescribed version of the Royal Marsden Manual for the CBT is that of the student version. I, however, have the Professional version. Would that make much of a difference or would that suffice? What edition did you guys have or reviewed on?

I used the professional edition. I doubt it makes any difference at all which version you use to study. The student edition has multiple choice questions that appear word for word on the actual CBT, but I think if you actually study either version, you'll get all these questions right. I think you can find these questions in the Royal Marsden site, if you want to see them.

You either call or email them... it takes 2 weeks though before they reply..

Hi guys!

I am having problem with my portal as it says it will assess my application within 40 working days. The problem is that i am from the old scheme and the only document they have transferred is my references. The rest of documents are not uploaded yet. What should i do? It has been two weeks since i emailed them. Don't they upload the documents altogether?

it takes 2 weeks for them to reply to your email. its better to give them a call

It depends.. But you have to email them about which specific documents you want transferred to the new system. Not to put your hopes down but police clearance and medical certificate should be within three months. But still, try to ask them if it can also be transferred. :)

The 3 months validity only applies to the police clearance. You can ask for them to transfer your declaration of good health and other papers so long as they aren't 9 months old.
