NMC and CGFNS problems

Good morning

Have any UK trained/registered nurses had any issues with the NMC finding out who to contact regarding filling out request for license/registration paperwork? Spoke to a NMC representative on the phone who told me they don't need to fill the paper work in as the requesting party can openly search me on the register? I won't be able to progress if this document isn't processed. Just wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation before I contact the CGFNS.

Many thanks

Lauren

Hi Doda Rut

Thats crazy!! My status has just changed to ready for review today! Im not sure if I need to do anything else now or if its just a case of waiting? I am thinking about paying the expedited fee to be honest as I have already wasted about 5/6 months to get to this stage due to my University

That's great!

how long from the day Your document delivery did it change to received on the portal?

My transcripts were sent tracked on either 4th/5th January and was notified by the CGFNS they had been recieved on 15th February. I don't really know what I do next, if anything? Or do I just wait?

I think you will just wait if you're not expediting

I've just decided to expedite it. A lot of money to part with but I just cant wait that long. Will let you know how things go!

All the best! Hopefully it's done quicker.

All the best to you too. I certainly will, keep us updated on your progress too

Hi , I paid the expedite review and it was the best thing ever . 5 days after I paid they emailed me personally saying that they need the documents completed from my university ( I received a paper from university to say confirm that I graduated and at the time of graduation I received my diploma and transcripts ) . I emailed them saying that the uni will not give me the paper , so they read my transcripts . 2 days later I got the CES report . The best 400$ I spend and I was stress relieved . After 2 weeks I emailed again my case office because I wasn't sure what my next steps in registration will be and they replied.

Good luck with CGFNS and NCLEX !

If it helps , It took them 2 weeks to log my docs from the moment I send them until they appeard as received

Hi Everyone,

I would just like to encourage every UK RN trying to do the move to being a US RN that it can be DONE.

I have just received my CES Report exactly two month after I paid for the report to be done. Although, I paid for the expeditED review and received my CES report two business days after all my reports were 'under review'

The major boost I had was my A & E placement I think. I was able to use those hours for the areas we usually are deficient in.
