Hello all,
I just passed the NMC CBT and was planning on finishing the application while I figure out how to do the OSCE. On the application, it asks for a "police report"-- do you think a castle branch report which has run a full background check is OK? Or would there be another place to get this report that would be acceptable? Usually when applying for licenses within the USA, some states do fingerprints, and they handle the check themselves. I'm just not sure what to include as proper documentation here.
Thank you!!

Did you ever figure this out? I'm a US nurse that's already in the UK, so I am getting an FBI clearance (Identity History) and submitting that. At some point I will probably have to do a British police clearance as well bc I've been on British soil long enough.

Hi all,
You need to do the FBI background check as it covers all states. Just go online, fill the form and send the fingerprints cards. Your local police or private companies will do that for you.

You need to get your fingerprints done with the UK police and mail them to FBI. You can request the fingerprints cards from the American embassy in the UK
confirmed! I did the FBI check and it went through fine. went through RAF Lakenheath in Suffolk.
