I currently work in a facility that allows me to have a NICHE membership for free. I completed the Geriatric Resource Nurse 2016 certificate. I was wondering if that has helped anyone with obtaining a new position? I am looking to switch jobs and I just finished the course, just wondering if I should mention it in the resume if it was worth it. Anyone else have this certificate?

It is worth mentioning , anything you do to increase your knowledge or bring value to a team related to a specialty care ,demonstrates your investment in yourself and in improving the care of your patients

I am certified as a DON in LTC by NADONA, have a certificate in gerontology and one in infectious diseases and infection control. No one has ever given me a job because of these. That being said, knowledge is always a good thing and proof of the knowledge you have is also a good thing.
