Hello I'm a foreign educated nurse waiting for licensure exam in NY. Fortunate to land in a job here and get assigned in a psche unit. I've been here for almost three months and indeed having a great time. I never knew how nice it is to be a psyche nurse. I just hope I could keep the fire burning as in my enthusiasm in my work right now. Any suggestions?? thanks;)

hello there! i'm one of the many nurses here in the phils. who dream to migrate in the land of milk and honey. i just passed the cgfns and ielts. i have yet to apply for the visascreen. could you pls. tell me something about the people, weather and quality of living in albany? i applied for an agency here and was told that i would be assigned in albany? not too keen on pursuing though because i have heard that the cost of living in new york is high. i'm on the lookout for another agency. have you applied thru agency? it's so good to hear that a lot of our "kababayans" are doing well there.

Albany is considered upstate Ny, and extremely cold in the winter and with a lot of snow. It sits on the snow belt of Lake Erie, so they get quite a bit of snow. You would be much better looking towards NYC, where the snow levels will be much less. That is where most of my students are planning on going to. :)
If you need any more help, please let me know. :balloons:
