Hello! I'm new here, and I am starting a CNA class in August. I'm so excited, but also nervous. I'll be 30 in Dec, and my whole career has been in childcare, mainly with infants, and I feel I have come to a stand still. The only way to further myself in that career field is to go to college. My WHOLE life I have wanted to work in the medical field, but I never considered myself qualified to do so. I figure now is the time to do it. It is either go to school for early childhood, or for my CNA and then down the line as a Respiratory Therapist, or a Radiology Tech, or a Sonographer, or a Nurse, etc...the options are nearly endless. I'm just so nervous about doing something "different". I have never gone to college, and haven't been in school for 11 years, so I don't know what to expect, or even know if I can do it. I'm sure I'll do fine, though, and I just can't wait for it to start!!
