Hello Everyone! I currently live in Sunny South Florida and loving every bit of it! I graduated from FSU with a BS in Communication 2 1/2 years ago and have been working in the medical staffing industry and now proffessional staffing. I originally started as a Nursing major at FSU but discovered that I had a talent of "talking a lot" so I decided to do the communication thing. I recently decided that I have a passion for Nursing and I'm looking forward to the amazing goals I am determined to accomplish. I'm currently awaiting an acceptance in the Spring, but I have to pass the NLN . Has anyone taken the test? Any advice on how to study for it? I take it on September 16. Also because I have a BS I am eligible to be admitted in the RN-MSN program after I receive my RN. I plan on becoming a Nurse Practionar specializing in Cardiac Care. I'm soo excited. Looking forward to everyone's advice and meeting new friends with common career goals.

Study the book NLN Pre Entrance Exam-RN, or the NLN Pre Entrance Exam-PN. Those are the study guides for the NLN and i studied out of the PN study guide and did pretty good. The questions on the test were very similar to the practice ones that are in the Study guide.

Hi there...welcome!! :welcome:
I am fairly new also. I have two more pre-req's left before my nursing classes and then I'm done!
I agree with previous posters...buy the Study book...that is really the only way to study. I have taken it and really there isn't a way to prepare for it or know what is really on it until you actually take it, but this study guide is your best bet!!
Good luck on your test!!
