I have finally passed Boards! Yea!!:balloons:
Now I am going to my first job. I am a little shaken though for I have"STAGE FRIGHT" My new employer has aked me to pay attention to the CNA because the facility in question wants to turn around the way things are done "inhouse".
Big Job and really scary. Me? The "Big Bad Wolf?" I am just getting my foot in the door trying to learn how to be a good nurse so that I may further my career.
I haven't even been on the floor yet and already I have the gitters.
Any sugestions?:mortarboard:

I just finished a program in Ohio and moved to Missouri so I'm stuck in the paperwork transition waiting for boards etc...
I had similar thoughts during clinicals. My last 9 weeks, my group (6 students) were essentially turned loose on a med/surg - telemetry floor. Worried? Heck yes. What if I make a mistake?
My instructor told us this: You're all essentially nurses now and just working on finalizing things and NCLEX review. Look at it as though you work here - BE a nurse.
I learned more about being a nurse then, than I did the entire program because I knew the stuff, I just was affraid to apply it. I'm not afraid any longer and other than orientation to the facility I choose to work at, I'm confident I'll do fine as will you.
Congrats on passing your boards and as the commercial says, "just do it".
