New grad

Hi everyone, I am a new grad with my BSN looking to relocate from Chicago to a nice worm not so humid state, and a well paid job with great benefits. Is like I wont it all! I just found out that some states are paying $30-40 an hr. Could some one give me advice on were to go?

hi

memorial regional hospital (s) hiring new grads, new nurse starts at $22 i think but phenomenal benefits, $10,000 signon bonus, all different shifts and will hire right into er.icu with 6 month orientation with a preceptor

i start in cardiac icu the 24th, first RN job

if you decide to apply use me for a bonus, with both get one!!!

good luck

ps. weekend shift gets $15 more an hour, for 12 week signon (once you can work on your own)

Florida would not be the place. We're warm and humid and pay about the same, maybe a little more. Good luck in finding something. Sounds like the Southwest is what your after, like California.

Where starting salaries are in the higher ranges, the cost of living is much higher as well. Just something to think about. And then your tax rate is also higher.

And hospitals offering large sign-on bonuses and enormous pay rates should also send up a red-flag. My nursing professor was telling us that these hospitals usually have HORRIBLE nurse-patient ratios, or perhaps horrible working conditions.
