New grad programs in MA

Specializes in OMFS, Dentistry.

I will be graduating this Friday from an ASN program. My intentions are to study like crazy, pass the NCLEX, and immediately enroll into a BSN program. (I don't want to wait too long to continue with school.)

I am a complete newbie to nursing (I've been a dental assistant for 21 yrs) and have been searching for any new grad programs. The topics on here seem to be a few years old and some do not offer them anymore. Does anyone have any advice or know of any programs?

Thank you in advance =)

Are you thinking hospitals specifically? The only one I know of in the Boston area that hires ASN-prepared nurses is BMC.

North Shore Medical Center in Lynn and Salem hire ASN new grads. I think Beverly Hospital does as well (further north). And look @ the Steward facilities.

I am taking boards in 4 weeks. I didn't pass in November. So I have been concentrating on this for the moment. :(

I'm an idiot! It says RN after your name. Congrats! Did you get into a new grad program? What ended up happening with you??

Hi Mrs D. ,

Yes. I passed at the end of February. I applied to a few places to no avail. (Wanted either one year experience or BSN) so I'm still at my FT job (non nursing) and am in my second semester of RN-BSN. Going to get a few certs under my belt while I'm plugging away.

TY for asking!
