Hi everyone,
i had had a general question. I am currently a New Grad NP and was recently offered a Temp job, I also have another possible FT job offer with another company. I am very interested in both jobs. I am interested in the first job because it is with a great, reputable company with a strong support system for new grads, although it is only a temp position with a possible for conversion to permanent position at the end of the timeframe. I like the second job because it's a permanent position, FT with benefits, and also with a great company.
My question is: is it wise/possible to accept both job offers? The first job gave an option of PT or FT. If I elect for PT is it possible for me to accept the second job FT and do both?
I would just take the first job offer, but it's a temp position with no guarantee of on boarding after 4 months and it has no benefits
thank you for any input or advice

I personally value job security and health insurance, so I would go with the permanent position. I also am skeptical that the temp position would invest many resources for new provider development if that provider was likely only going to be there for four months. I'd think you'd get more learning from the consistent job anyway.
Good luck and congrats!

Starting two new jobs as a new grad is going to leave you stressed. I would take the FT one and go firward

Personally I think you're going to find your first job very stressful. I wouldn't want to take on two at the same time. I looked at my first job as something I absolutely hated but it was a great learning experience. You will be much more valuable in subsequent years so I wouldn't put too much stock in that. I had a contractor contact me on LinkedIn and they offered me something and I said look man I don't want to waste your time I can't work for that type of rate and they went up $20 an hour like it was nothing.

I would rather invest in a job that has a need for full time employees. Also as another poster said, working 2 jobs is too much. You are no longer an RN hustling on the side for extra income. Do that once you are experienced and confident in your skills.
