New Grad NP Help

Now that I have passed boards, when do I apply for NPI number? Do I have to have a job to do so first? Should I wait to get DEA Licensure until I obtain a job first or do can I apply even though I do not have on yet?? My brain is racing help- oh yeah, my state BON site is not all that helpful!

    For most people, best to wait until you get a job. You really can do it any time but you will need to put in an address and phone number and you don't want that to be your personal info.

    I had a job prior to graduating but all of my employers had staff that assisted with the credentialing process. I think my CDS was the only thing I had to apply for and get on my own.
