Hello!
I have accepted an adjunct clinical faculty position for an ADN program that I will begin in the spring. I will be the clinical instructor on the PCU/ICU for the level 4 (senior) students. Anyone have any advice? Any creative ideas for post conference? I am excited but also very nervous!
Thank you in advance!

One of the things one of our clinical instructors did (who is seriously an encyclopedia) was have us do reverse Jeopardy- We all tried to come up with questions that would stump her. It was a good way to see what we knew and for us to study up on something. She did Jeopardy for us for NCLEX-style questions, meds, things like that.

Report! Have them practice giving report. I have 6 shifts left before I graduate and I have given report 3x in all of nursing school. Make them practice so they get used to it.

I agree! This is something I do. They also practice calling the doctor, radiology, PT, OT, ect.
