New Chamberlain Student

I will be starting Chamberlain Online BSN on April 30. Anyone else in the St. Louis area starting the program at that time.

Thanks.

No, I attend a cc here in town, but I wish you the best!!

I am trying to get into Chamberlain this July. I have to take the TEAS. Did you take it? I know they didn't require it before but now they do -- that sucks!! My friend is starting the program Apr 30th as well.

Okay, I just realized you are starting the BSN program, I'm referring to the ASN. Best of luck to you.

Hi Loreal,

I saw you on the chamberlain site yesterday when I was getting ready for the online orientation. Did you already attend one because I didn't see you during the actual orientation? I'm taking the cultural diversity and transition classes. Hope to be able to chat further.

I think I attended, that system was acting a little bonky. I keep trying to get help, but received no responses. I watched the entire powerpoint presentation (waste of my time) so I think I did. I will contact my advisor, I am sure there is a way to find out if I logged in. Plus I really don't think it was "mandatory" so I think I am okay.

Nik,

Good Luck on your TEAS today. I will be rooting for ya.

Loreal, I was actually reschedule my TEAS for next Thursday so that I can focus on the A&P exam. I heard the TEAS is much easier than the actual TEAS study guide. Let me know how your first day goes with Chamberlain....:uhoh3:

Hi Loreal,

I attended the orientation, it was helpful. I think I learned more when I navigated the webct and devry sites myself. I'm excited about starting. The transition class is up and ready to go. I'll probably go ahead and do the assignment this weekend.

BTW, good luck with your test NikNik.

it would have taken me a little over a year, but i withdrew a day before starting classes because i found out my employer (barnes-jewish) offers a 14 month rn-bsn program that has little out of pocket for me. I only have to buy books. gen ed classes are covered under tuition assistance program and nursing courses are free. Much better than paying $500+/credit hr. I will be starting that program in august.
