New and after some advice

:uhoh3:I am so scatter brained and don't know where to start studying for the NCLEX RN. Should I go through all of my NCLEX book and review or just do questions?

Welcome

Moved to a thread on it's own. I would recommend doing questions and if there is an area you feel needs brushing up once you are doing the questions then brush up in that area.

I agree with Silverdragon. Start doing questions. If you get the feeling that you aren't getting even a small percentage right, then go back and review the areas that aren't familiar to you. Utilize your limited time available well. Good luck.

OK, In another thread you mention you only took the exam today and had 75 questions. Leave the books, distract yourself and wait for your results.

I know! But I'm sure I failed!! I'm trying to prepare for the next one...

I've felt scatter brained this whole time!

Everyone feels as if they have failed, you need to take a break and wait for results

Like Silverdragon said........wait for your official results. Most feel they have failed but 85% pass their first time taking boards. Good luck.

Please take everyone's advice & try to relax. you need to know for sure if you have passed before you start preparing for something that you may not need to. Go do something fun, maybe a few drinks with friends. Think positive, DO NOT look over any questions until you get your results. Good luck!

And worst thing that you can possibly do is use multiple books in preparing for this exam.

And most definitely wait until you get results, there is absolutely no reason to start to prepare now. Your brain will not retain it either, you actually need to give yourself at least a week from the time that you get your results before you should look at a book again or anything having to do with this exam.

Using multpile books is worst?:crying2: Well i have a lot of books, most of them were just borrowed, some of them owned by my dad who is currently taking up nursing. Some of them offer knowlede, some offer strategies, some have questions and answers...
