NEU Direct Entry Online Program Starting Spring 2013

Hi Everyone,

I got accepted into the Online Direct Entry Nursing Program at Northeastern University and will be starting in Spring 2013. I'm nervous, but very excited to start a new chapter in my life. Spring is right around the corner and I'd like to start it off great. Does anyone know if a page have been created for the cohort starting in spring 2013 yet? Either on here or a different site, such as facebook? I'm moving from California and I'd like to meet people to hang out, study and share advice with. You can definitely be from a different cohort. Any advice is definitely welcome.

Thank You.

Hi Notsobyuht,

The only thing I've been told is that Orientation date will probably be at the end of nov or early dec. I've applied for a few places, but I won't know until October. Are you moving to Boston as well?

Swtkitten- where else are you applying? I live near Boston so I'm very local :).

Notsobyuht,

I stopped my other nursing applications when I got into Northeastern, so I'm pretty set on attending school in Boston. I've just been applying to residental areas in Boston. That's great. You don't have to worry about relocating or anything. Boston is a beautiful place. I visited last month.

Can you take them down for me? Thank you.

I just found out today that I was accepted! I'm so excited to meet you guys. I'll be moving from VA so it will be quite an adjustment.

Hey Emzig6,

Congrats on being accepted and being in the same cohort as us. Don't worry, we can adjust to the new environment together. It'll definitely be a nice change. When are you moving to Boston? Did you get any updates from the program?

Hello, have you found were to live. Am moving from TX, i want to live with someone in the program. Any housing information will be appreciated.

Thanks! You too! I'll be moving to Boston in December after I graduate from JMU. I received an email saying December 5 is our Preparation Day, which I'm guessing is like orientation. Where will you guys be living?
