Hi, I took the NET test in July. The test was basic math and reading questions. The math was alot of percentages and reading was some definitions and comprehension. Good Luck

It 's basic math and reading. I would purchase the study guide from eriworld.com. If you can ace their sample test in the book you will do just fine on the NET. GOOD LUCK !!!

Hello I took the net last November and am now in nursing school. My advise is to buy the net study guide it is worth the money. It has 2 practice tests for math and 2 for reading and examples to follow. the practice tests are much like the actual net, same # and type of questions.
Good luck.

Definitely get the net study guide!! I did all the practice math questions 3 or 4 times until I didn't really have to think about them. I took it in the beginning of August. I just found out I was accepted into my program yesterday.

the net study guide only touches base...but the test is a little more in depth..atleast in pa it is. make sure you practice fractions, ratio proportions and doing decimals...adding, dividing, subtraction, division. For english you want to focus on comprehension..."inferential reading, main idea, drawing a conlcusion"
Good Luck
The NET study guide I purchase from ERI was right on point. It is what you need to study exacty. Well, I forgot to mention the NET test was actually written by ERI, with that said I guess you should find out which testing center test they will use and than purchase that study guide.

I agree with getting the NET study guide. I took the NET the first time and I passed, but barely (57th percentile or something, u had to be in at least the 50th percentile)....I took it without studying. I had to retake it bc the school I went to only accepted scores less than a year old. That time I bought the study guide. The second time I took the test, I scored in the 99th percentile so it was definitely a big help.
