NELRP is there a thread?

Is there already a thread for RNs waiting to hear about awards from the Nursing Education Loan Repayment Program?

When I search, I can only find previous year's threads.

So I called the HelpDesk, this person was a little more informative than the last person I spoke with. I asked if they had by any chance sent me anything and perhaps I had just missed it in my SPAM folder .... they confirmed that they hadn't sent me anything yet and are still sending out "confirmation of interest emails" - whatever that means?

Oi. I hope they don't throw out my application just because I'm a nervous wreck & can't help but call them several times :)

The email the rep mentioned is the "first email" that we've been talking about here. They have you electronically sign your intent to accept, which is the contract, then you wait for the second signature, and the next day the final award letter comes. (I said it like I did because I'm confident that you, and others that are still waiting, will be awarded!)

I don't want to give false hope, only for you to be let down, but I was having issues logging in the day I got the award email and my status changed to 'participant'. Maybe they're updating your status today?! I kept thinking to myself... I better stop trying to log in, in case I'm causing trouble for them to update it...they might just say screw it and move on for the day!

Heavy duty prayers being said for all who wait -- including me!

Come on HRSA! Send out some emails and sign some contracts!

How long did it take everyone to receive second signature?

How long did it take everyone to receive second signature?

About 4 weeks here.

The exact same thing is happening to me today! I also called the help line but got nowhere. Please oh please God let this be a good thing!

Another day (36 actually) no second signature. Very sad faces

OH BOY . I know this is really unbearable. The waiting is frustrating me, and I already got my final email. But as painfully difficult & disappointing each day without that signature is, you must believe that your second signature is going to show. One of the times you open your profile, you will scroll down, and it will be there. Or you wil open your email, not even looking for HRSA, and there it will be.

Thank you for words of encouragement!

I've spent sometime reading through your many comments and I'm glad to read that some of you are now receiving emails and being asked for signatures. I too check my email daily and often, but as yet, I have not received anything. I called last week to change my password and was told that they received a vast amount of applications, but to continue to check my email daily.

Receiving an award for loan repayment would be a tremendous help for me and my family. I pray that my application is submitted and approved. Good luck everyone......

PS. Just checked again, and the status is still "Under Review"....(sigh)........until tomorrow :nurse:

I'm confused as to where I stand...My portal never changed from "submitted" to "under review", and today I'm unable to log in at all!

That is strange
