How do we knw what team we are on

I am starting to get upset about this as well! It is just such a long, drawn-out wait! The waiting is so nerve-wracking!! UUuuggghh!!!! Every single time I check my mail I get sad that I haven't received something. I even told my husband that I have a sneaky suspicion that I am going to check this blog one day and a whole bunch of nurses are going to be writing that they were awarded and I am not going to get any mail and it's just going to upset me so much at this point! I have such high hopes now. And I am just so nervous because of the post earlier that there aren't many awards going out to people.

Nurse79 - if you received the verification email that asked you to sign the contract and send in your banking information, it will tell you what team you are on. IF you didn't receive an email, I don't really think you're on a team yet. Keep hoping....keep up the posts people. I am working today on a Saturday and need some hopes to remain alive. I am so over this! I too am obsessed. I need a letter now!

Also Nurse 79 - you are writing up until now..so does that mean you now are hearing something? Or does that mean you haven't heard anything at all, including now? Keep praying and I don't think you should worry just yet. It seems to me that it is happening in waves just like it did last year. Keep praying!

fyi/update: you all remember i wrote my attn person back? well she was out of the office friday, but responded today. i'll go ahead and repost the entire exchange:

hi suzanne,

thank you for submitting a very neat application package. i've reviewed and sent your application forward.

g

g,

thank you so much for the update. i guess the next step is just hoping the secretary of health and human services signs my contract! please let me know if any additional information is required.

suzanne

suzanne,

you are correct. the next, anticipated step is for a representative of the secretary of hhs to sign it.

hope you enjoy a pleasant week,

gloria

hopefully this is again a good sign. does the secretary actually look at/review the application package again? or just give his/her john hancock and be done? i hope they just sign it because that would proabably mean i have it in the bag! right...? lol

hey suzy - i am rereading this post and i think that's probably why she wrote, "anticipated"?!! let's analyze this, shall we?? why would she write anticipated? is it because she already 'anticipates' it happening??? i just thought maybe we can get a silly conversation going to pass the time!! hee hee hee....

Amy, lol yah I've already pondered over the "anticipated" comment. Sounds like she expects it to happen, but it's still not a guarantee. Has anyone tried to call the HRSA # and asked for info? If we are already contracted and just waiting for the letter to get here maybe they could tell us? I just don't want to bug my Attn person!

I've just about given up on hearing anything. I am so sad because I was counting on this. I am really afraid I was denied because of a fraudulent item on my credit report. :(

BeachPrincess - don't give up yet, girl! Seriously, we've got two more whole months before losing hope! if I were you, I would call HRSA. Tell them your concern about your credit report. Then, if you know there's something fraudulent on your report, call the credit agency and see what you can do to fix your report. Report your fraudulent claim (not sure what the process is for that, but that's what I would definitely do).

Suzy - yeah, I was just analyzing the "anticipated". I talked to my husband about it when I got off work last night and I think he thinks I'm crazy for over-analyzing it! I can't help myself.

God, Please please please let this be the week I get my mailed miracle!!

Thanks Amy, the fraud alert has been on my credit report months before HRSA ran my credit. I initially called HRSA about the issue and the rep could not help me. I actually have a lawyer working on the issue because the company refuses to remove the item from my credit and they know its not my debt!!! I have already started applying for travel nursing positions so I can start making better money to push towards my student loans. I know I need to stay positive, but its so hard when people with ratios less than mine have received emails.

BeachPrincess- Try and stay positive. I keep telling myself, if it's doesn't happen this year even if I get it within the next 5 years it will still SAVE me.
