I've been an intermediate school nurse (5th and 6th grade) for 3 years, and finally have an interview scheduled for a high school position next week. This is my dream job at my son's school, and I want to do so well in the interview that they can't imagine hiring anyone else! Are there any pointers that high school nurses can share with me? Thanks in advance for your help; I'm so excited/nervous that I may not sleep for the next week.

How'd your interview go?
I think it went well. My lead nurse, who is a former HS nurse, gave me some great tips yesterday. I have no idea how many people they interviewed, but I'll know either way on Friday. I hope it's good news! It is kind of scary to think about going from 820 to 3150 students, but I would have two aides.

Iggywench, how did the interview go, did you get the job? I am an elementary SN interviewing for HS on Wednesday. Do you remember some of the things they asked you. Was it HS specific? Any other HS nurses have any suggestions?
