so today sucked royaly!!! i took the nclex for the second time. the first time was 45 days ago and i got to 265. today i also got to 265. i see the difference between the two tests. i noticed some improvements this time. and i also noticed some weaknesses today that i didnt know i had. i went in on no sleep and took the test in just over 2 hours.
PLEASE PRAY FOR ME! i want this so bad. i dont understand why this is happening to me. kaplan said i was ready. why did i get to 265 twice and fail "hopefully" just the first time?
what are the odds of passing at 265?
thanks in advance for the prayers :)

odds are no better or worst than last time...However, while I hope you passed, the thing that gets me is that you stated you didn't sleep. sleep is vital to the brain and thinking process....I hope that didn't hurt you. GL!

I have no idea about the passing thing at 265, as I took the old fashioned two day paper test.
However, I do not understand why you took this test on NO SLEEP. Did you work the night before, or where you just so anxious you couldn't sleep?

Good luck to you..... I surely hope that you passed... I have heard of people passing with a lot of questions... So.. just relax..... Sorry that you have to go through this. Will pray for you. Hang in there, and keep us posted.

I took my NCLEX board examination in California in 2001. I also experienced the dreaded 265 questions and passed fine. I had to wait 1 month though to get my results because my fine alma mater had mixed up my transcriptions to the state nursing board. Longest month of my life.
Good luck to you!!

I bet she didn't sleep because of the awful anxiety. OH YUCK do I remember that!
I know many people who passed at 265 and failed at 75.
You passed..you passed...you passed...you passed....
I'll pray for you! Please post here when you find out!
Oh yeah...If Kaplan said you were ready, I would believe them!

Good luck. My prayers are with you. Waiting to hear is agony. I had to wait until they mailed me my results. I was afraid to open it.
