i'm planning to take NCLEX exam.

which country is better... NM or Vermont?

how many months do they give for you to take the exam? (both NM and Vermont) is it term as eligibility? -- hope i'm right.

what things do i have to need and steps to do?

correct me if i'm wrong.... my perception about the steps:

first, to pass all the requirements the state asked for and wait for the eligibilty. then after receiving the eligibility, register to PV and wait for the att.

please... help. badly needs an advice. thanks so much!

Plenty of threads on here but would say with retrogression you have the time to decide on where you want to live and go with that BON. NCLEX is the same exam regardless on which state you go with. The steps you mention are right and also you will need Visa Screen so once you pass NCLEX you need to arrange with your BON to send result to CGFNS once you have started VS process. There is usually a small fee for this

Also, I would suggest that you first decide on w/c State do you really want to work and live and do not go by on what others are choosing. There are States such as NY that requires CGFNS' CVS for NY service no matter what and it won't do you no good to go to be licensed to another State 1st. Everything depends on w/c State you eventually want to really work and live.

The approval letter goes with a white card that will be sent back to VT after you register with pearsonvue because you will write your candidate number there. When you register with pearson and when ATT is given you are allowed to take the exam in 90 days.

Hi, I haven't received my ATT yet but I bet we won't be having difficulty in scheduling our exam as long as we call pearson as soon as we have it. Registration ( the application ) is good for two years and it is valid from the time we receive our approval to sit for the exam.

Your eligibility for Vermont BON will be valid for 2 years which means that you can register with pearson vue within the validity. once you registered you will be getting the ATT which will have a validity of 90 days. you have to be able to take the exam within 90 days or you will forfeit your ATT and have to reregister to pearson vue and have to pay them again.
