Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

So my micro final is tonight. I planned on selling my micro book back, but now I'm having second thoughts, my teacher had mentioned that some of the material would be on the NCLEX.. So I'm wondering if maybe I should just hold onto it.. Any thoughts?

PS I'm going to fluff my feathers here and tell you all I'm well on my way to an A in the class, which has been quite an accomplishment for me, this class was HARD, well imo.

congrats on the A awesome!!

I would keep the book, I finished micro last spring and kept all my books I start NS in January and have already used both AP and micro several times, in studying for the TEAS exam, trying to refresh on things to start school etc..

I have not needed my micro book in my now 2.7 years of nursing school. I did keep my notes on antibiotics and disease, but I did not need them. Your nursing textbooks will be more focused. Congrats on the A and good luck with nursing school.

Specializes in Acute Care Psych, DNP Student.

Congratulations on your 'A'!

I sold my micro book back because I could get $80 for it. Planning for nursing school, I already purchased another used micro book off of ebay for $5.

I figure I just need a basic micro textbook for nursing school, not necessarily the expensive edition my bookstore will pay me so much for.
