Hello,
I have a good friend who holds a B.S. degree in another field and is looking to break into the nursing field. My friend already completed a CNA course. What is the best option to becoming an LPN? Are there any recommended online programs for LPN? Once my friend becomes an LPN, what is the best program (online if possible) to become a BSN?
My friend works full-time during the day. So an online LPN program would work the best.
Please provide some recommendations. My friend is located in the Madison/Milwaukee area.

Why not post your question in the student forum or the Wisconsin forum? Most likely, you will have better responses in either of those 2 forums.

The hospital where I work will not hire nurses that have their degrees from online programs. The problem is that they usually only require 2 days or less of clinical experience where a full-time classroom-led program requires around 1,000 hours in a hospital. Most people in my program had to quit their jobs to attend school, but it was well worth it in the end.
