here is an example of an evidence based question i came up with. for patients on ventilators does saline breakdown the secretions or complicate the issues?... i want to know what you guys think about this. any reply is appreciated

I think your question is fine. But if you want another idea. I just did one. How does continuous subcutaneous insulin infusion compare to insulin injections with glycemic control.

An easy way to find info on evidenced based practice/studies is to research the Cochrane Library at:

Has your instructor (or textbook) given you a specific format to use? You may be required to use the PICU format:
P = Patient, population, or problem
I = Intervention
C = Comparison with other treatments
O = Outcomes
If you are required to use the PICO format, your instructor may want you to re-phrase your question. To do that, start by identifying your P, I, C, and O ... and then put that in a sentence.
The other relies you got are correct.
My EB question is a systematic review. This was my PICO question: In a population of diabetic adults, how does continuous insulin infusion compare to multiple daily sticks, impact glucose control.

ithe cochrane library and PICO are wonderful and to be truthful, i have never come across this two helpful links. PICO is wonderful it actually helps you to come up with questions. THANKS GUYS I REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR REPLY!!!
