Ok I failed Monday and re-registered the same day! Now as you all have seen my other post I'm trying to figure out which review to use. I decided to use ncsbn cause they made the test! I will be able to reschedule in 41 days so that leaves me nearly 6 weeks to study. What is the difference if any between the 3 week program and the 5 week program
thanks

Just more time to review the core content. It will take 85 hours to finish from beginning to end. But I see a few people post on here that they only bought the 3 week option to do the questions. But DO what works for you!

I did the 3 weeks and could not finish the questions since I only could spend an hour a day studying/doing questions. I wish I would have signed up for the 5 weeks. If you study more than 3 hours a day doing the questions, 3 weeks is plenty of time.
tyhanks for the input :-) I didn't think i'd be able to finish all 85 hours in 3 weeks and so I did sign up for the 5 week! have you all passed your boards yet?

I am currently on week 4 of NCSBN. All it is, is more time. I knew there was no way I could study to finish the 3week one, so I am actually almost done with it and I am saving all the review questions for my final week. That was I have 7-10 of just questions.
Nope my second time around is in less than 3 weeks! =P
did you take ncsbn the first time and still fail? i just rescheduled for the end of april!!
No I didn't, but I am going to try the ncsbn this time around. I had saunders and exam cram. I think I didn't practice enough questions. I also bought LaCharity book this time and it is SO helpful. Plus I thought I could do it by myself, so I didn't pray either...so my fault on that note. Now I am starting out my day with rosary, St. Therese novena, and then study for how much I can, and end the day with 1 our father, 3 hail marys, and 1 glory be.
Also after failing, I took a step back and knew that I was not prioritizing my life the way I should. God first, family second, and me third.
This is just a road bump. We can do it! ^_^
lol ok cool thanks :)

Hi all,
I am thinking of purchasing NCSBN review. I just wonder... does it have both review contents and practice questions ? Does anyone know how many practice questions NCSBN review have? Someone mentioned about 85 hours to use the NCSBN? What does that mean? Thank you very much.
well you need 85 hours to read through the content and do the questions. I'm not sure how many questions it will have in total but I did one 150 q pre test and after each section there are post tests. I only completed one section and the post test was 20 q's. hope this helps, it's a compete review of content given by the ppl who give the test so it's worth it. I don't think Zi'll be able to get it all done in the 5 weeks though

Im doing the 3 week course right now, It's very time consuming and do think I will finish in time, for example lesson 3 has 150 post questions, each section has a different amount of questions depending on how much knowledge they put in that lesson. If I could register again I would take the 5 week course.
