NCLEX in 2 weeks

hello everyone,

i graduated last week and found out i passed all my exit exams last week as well. yay! i also sent my papers for the board last week. i have been doing nclex questions here and there since school ended last week of january but not really focusing.

i just got my att through my email today. i was really surprised they processed my paper works that fast.

anyway, i scheduled my nclex-pn in two weeks. do you think that is enough time to do the review and pass?

i also work full time 3-11. i request two days off before my test. do you think that is enough? i am pretty confident i will do fine but i am still nervous.

thanks for your input. i hope i can finally call myself a nurse. :yeah:

thanks,

angel :smokin:

When I was a student, all of my instructors had stated that it is best to take NCLEX within a few weeks after completion of the program. In other words, don't wait too long. You're at an advantage because the information you've learned from school is still fresh in your mind.

However, you may want to answer as many practice questions as possible during the next 2 weeks. I'd suggest you go through at least 100 questions per day to get accustomed to sitting in one place (as you will be doing this in the testing center). Good luck to you!

thank you thecommuter! :redbeathe yes i would have to do as much nclex questions as i can in this coming two weeks.

that is what my program coordinator told me as well when i phoned her this afternoon. she said take it asap.

then i started panicking when i was scheduling my test through the web because almost all the dates for march is full and i really wanted to take it in march because they would raise the standard for the nclex-pn beginning april 1st.

anyway, there were two slots open: one within two days or the one in two weeks. i obviously picked the latter because there was no way i would be ready in two days.

any one else who took the nclex-pn within 2-3 weeks of graduation? thanks for sharing.

p.s. after how many weeks did you take yours thecommuter?
