I'm taking my NCLEX on Aug 8 @ 11:45 too!!! One of my instructors told us that if we get a question that we absolutely have no clue as to what the answer is, to pick the answer that is the longest. I hope it works, GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!! May the luck be with you!!:monkeydance:

I will be certain to take your advice on that one. I am really nervous today.

Good luck to you too :) :) :)

I wish you two good-luck and am sending you positive energy. I take my NCLEX on August 15th and I've finished Saunders Comprehensive Review book and CD. Now I'm working on the Saunders Q&A CD. Is there such a thing as studying too much for the NCLEX?

I did those two as well as Kaplan online and NCSBN Learning Extension online. I feel like I am overwhelmed with studying right now. I have not studied at all today. Spent time with my kids at the beach and then went for a walk with a friend this evening. Everyone told me to cut off the studying and enjoy the day before hand to relax. I think that may be the best advice thus far!

Good luck to you on the 15th!

:yeahthat: I think I'm gonna follow the same plan as you. Tomorrow I think I'll spend the day reviewing with my CD's and brushing up on some meds and general stuff... Thursday before the test I'm gonna hang out with one of my girlfriends and chill at the beach.

I'm not even sure what to study anymore! I feel a lil overwhelmed with info!

I do have a question tho, we didn't learn anything about IV's and tubing and drip rates in school. Did anyone get those kinda questions? I looked up a formula in one of my books but I can't find an example questions. I wanna practice with one so I know how to use the formula. HELP!

Hey guys 2 days untill my test!:uhoh3: The book I've been using was a gift to one of my classmates from the nurses she works with. She passed by the way. It is called NCLEX exam prep by pearson education. It is a good book full of info, it has a cd in the back that I've been doing it has 998 ?'s. Anyway hope this helps let me know how you all do.

It was interesting. Nothing like I had expected, but not terribly complicated either. I had several pharmacology questions and many with the "select all that apply" in relation to adverse effects of meds. That threw me for a loop!

Not feeling overly confident here, but it is over. I stopped at 85 questions and it took me about an hour and fifteen minutes.

Good luck to you on the 10th :)

WOW, adverse effects and select all that apply, those are my two worst nightmares combined in one question. Lol! As long as the drugs are tooooo crazy, I can deal, but if they are things that I never heard of... I'm gonna cry.

I took my NCLEX PN boards today, and have been crying ever since, the computer shut off at 85 questions, and I have no clue of how I did! Any advice........

gosh, u sound like me. I'm taking it in the morning and I know I'm gonna be a hot mess when I leave that place.:o
