Nclex 8/2

Hello everyone. I am getting down to the last few days before I sit for the NCLEX RN. I do feel ready to test and more than anything want it over. I keep trying to tell myself that I will and can pass. I have done close to 4000 questions using Saunders mostly. I am now just flipping through a comprehensive review book reading over things. I am starting to feel like I know nothing. The more I think about this test, the more I build it up thinking that it will be impossible. Just could use some word of encouragement. I think the thing I hate the most about this is not knowing what will be on there. At least in school you knew what the content was that was being tested. ARG! Please tell me I am normal :)

It's frustrating not knowing what to expect, especially when there's such a large body of potential material on the exam, but the great majority of people do pass on the first try.

Hi...I am taking the NCLEX-RN on 8/2 also. I have read the Saunders and keep doing questions from Lippencott's and Mosby's. I am starting on the Kaplan Question Trainer tomorrow. I feel the same way...I've studied and feel I know the content however I just am worried because I don't know what to expect. I graduated in June and took a month off and have been studying since the beginning of July. Just ready to get it over with and get on with my life. I think the best thing is to not let your nerves get in the way which can alter your judgement. Go in there confident and say...I will pass this test! Best of luck to you!

Colleennurse, do your possible best and erase that blockage of impossibility from your mind. If you dwell on it for a longtime it will lower your self confidence for the NCLEX RN test.

What you have learned is still before your eyes and it is fresh in your memory. Never allow anything to distract you. Bear in mind that the contents of the "comprehensive review" book mentioned does not defined who you are, no one can define who you are except you.

Begin to create a positive image of yourself, develop "I can do" attitude and see only success. Never think about impossibility, for it does not exist.

Relax, Relax, be of yourself and it will be well. Good Luck and may the Lord crown your effort with success.

Hey there - best of luck on the upcoming NCLEX. Try not to over-burden your mind in these last couple of days. There will always be more things to learn... therefore, there will always be things to get worked up about. Just relax, take a deep breath, and go for it. A word of advice: Don't analyze. The test or your abilities (I know, easier said than done). You know your stuff, you've studied hard. :wink2: Again, good luck!
